Macroscale Computer Modeling<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We develop research through three key technologies: numerical modeling<\/strong> to quantify the biomechanics of tissues and organs, artificial intelligence<\/strong> to quantify anatomy, function, and biomechanics of organs from clinical imaging, mixed reality<\/strong> to interactively navigate clinical images and 3D reconstructions. In this process, we aim to supporting clinicians in the understanding of physiopathological mechanisms, in diagnosis and patient stratification, in planning and performing interventions.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Numerical Modeling<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We use finite element models and finite volume models to quantify the biomechanical effects of pathologies and of interventions. By merging these approaches with medical imaging, we develop quantitative tools to aid the planning of surgical procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
